Upon arrival at Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport, you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly representatives. From there, you’ll be transferred to Entabeni Game Reserve, a scenic 2.5-hour drive north towards the stunning Waterberg Biosphere, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Once at Wild-Side Tented Camp, our team will welcome you, and you’ll enjoy lunch while our guide gives you an overview of your safari adventure. In the afternoon, embark on a 3-hour game drive to get your chance to spot the Big 5. Return for dinner and your first night in the heart of the African bush.

Start your day with an optional early game drive as the bush awakens (3 hrs). Afterward, enjoy a hearty breakfast before meeting your horse for a thrilling morning ride (2.5-3 hrs). After lunch and some poolside relaxation, set off again for a scenic afternoon ride (2.5 hrs), discovering more wildlife like zebra, giraffe, and hippo. Wake up early for a 3-hour game drive as the bush comes to life. After breakfast, pack your bags and prepare for a 5-6 hour horseback trek up Yellowwood Kloof, the steepest man-made road in Southern Africa. You’ll ride and lead your horse through valleys and mountain passes with stunning views. Stop for lunch by natural rock pools, with a chance to swim. As you emerge onto the open savanna, spot wildlife like blesbuck, giraffe, and possibly rhino. Arrive at fly camp, where sunset drinks by the fire and a 3-course meal await, along with traditional songs and dances.

After your final breakfast at fly camp, the logistics team will pack your bags as you ride 3-4 hours to Kingfisher Lodge. This 5-star gem is set on a lake with stunning views, offering a semi-private area for your group. You might spot hippos in the water as you settle in and enjoy lunch. Relax by the pool before an afternoon game drive (3 hrs), searching for hippos, giraffes, rhinos, and more of the abundant wildlife that roams the reserve.

After a full 5-hour route ahead partially walking and riding after which, you can choose to relax at the lodge or head out for an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge for a well-deserved dinner and rest.
