Arriving at Wild-Side Tented Camp, you'll settle in with a welcoming lunch before our expert guide briefs you on the exciting days ahead. Your adventure kicks off with a 3-hour game drive, offering the chance to witness the Big 5 up close. Return to camp for a relaxing dinner and your first night in the African bush, under the stars.

Rise early for an optional 3-hour game drive as the African bush comes alive with the morning light. After your return, indulge in a hearty breakfast before meeting your horse for the first morning ride (2.5-3 hours). You'll traverse the open plains, hoping to spot some of the Big 5—perhaps even a cheetah or elephant for an adrenaline-filled experience! After a midday break and lunch at the lodge, relax by the pool before setting off again for an afternoon ride (2.5 hours). Journey through stunning landscapes and lesser-traveled paths, seeking out more wildlife like wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, or even a hippo. As the sun sets, gather around the campfire for dinner and reflect on your first full day of adventure on horseback.

Start your day with an early morning game drive (3 hours) before returning for breakfast. After packing, your horses will be ready for a ride up the renowned Yellowwood Kloof, the steepest man-made road in Southern Africa. Lead your horse through valleys and mountain passes, with stunning views along the way. Stop for lunch at natural rock pools, where you can swim if weather allows. As you leave the valley, the open savannas appear, home to blesbuck, giraffe, eland, and maybe your first sight of rhino. Arrive at your fly camp for sunset drinks by the fire and a relaxing night under the stars.
